The Eternal Revelation Stands Alone

God has definitively spoken to mankind. There has been progressive revelation of God, who spoke in generations past to His servants and prophets, through the nation of Israel, and then, finally, through His Son. The foundational books of the Holy Bible, the Pentateuch and the New Testament Gospels are of an inestimable value in ascertaining the character and nature of God. Furthermore, how much history and instruction is provided for us in the rest of God’s word, in the prophets and the epistles. The point being is that I have something that stands forever, that is, the “God-breathed” scriptures, perfect for everything I need to live a godly and righteous life now, and the only source material to prepare me for eternity. Each page of my Bible, I shall search for Jesus my Lord, in hopes of finding more of Him, or that substance I missed on prior occasions. God’s plan for me, and for you, are to live in this place of learning, searching, living, and applying Christ! Therefore, be VERY wary of anyone who distracts you from this Book, leading you into different places to eat stranger’s bread. There are those who are set up to subtly lead you away from truth. The foundation one builds faith on must be the revealed counsel of God, the plans of His heart which He does not hide from any child. The word of God has no competition, at least that which can save souls.“The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart to all generations.”— ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33:11‬‬

DO NOT WEARY IN DOING GOOD

Ruth didn’t wave a banner, nor sound a trumpet, nor yell into the marketplaces, before she sacrificed her own desires and dreams, and directed her remaining years into the service of her widowed mother-in-law, Naomi. She just did it, hidden and in secret. However, the Lord repaid her openly in His sight and the sight of man!Let us not weary in well doing for we know our Lord is faithful and trustworthy. What is hidden will not remain hidden and what was done in the dark will come to the light; and what has been done in secret will be recompensed/rewarded by our Father in heaven.“Then Boaz said to Ruth, "Now, listen, my daughter, do not go to glean in another field or leave this one, but keep close to my young women. Let your eyes be on the field that they are reaping, and go after them. Have I not charged the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink what the young men have drawn." Then she fell on her face, bowing to the ground, and said to him, "Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?" But Boaz answered her, "All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before. The Lord repay you for what you have done, and a full reward be given you by the Lord, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge!" Then she said, "I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, for you have comforted me and spoken kindly to your servant, though I am not one of your servants."”— ‭‭Ruth‬ ‭2:8-13‬‬
